The Beginning

So this is the start of something new!

I’m Gebria Glenn, 16 and not really sure in where to take this project. My research (which now requires a $50 dollar a month subscription) led me to believe that lifestyle magazines are really what majority of consumers want.  Maybe in the sense of profit wise I should do a “Lifestyle” type of magazine. After all, after my research in class today, AARP was the top two leading contenders for misted consumed magazines. 

I feel as if magazines targeted towards young people have such different sales because of the difference in media consumption. Now, companies are turning towards Snapchat or Instagram to give insight on their latest issue because we’re less likely to get the paper copy. 

Regardless of all the facts, I would love to do a fashion magazine. The industry has been changing politically and socially, which encourages me to research more about this topic and how they captivate young girls like me into buying their products.
